BACKGROUND & INSPIRATION
Our finance and economics blog has its roots in the Harvard and Columbia Summer Programs. During these courses on personal finance and entrepreneurship, we discovered our shared passion for finance and economics. Together, Vinicius and Felipe met back in Brazil and founded Finance Focused, contacting people they met at the programs to join the blog and help writing articles. Our initial articles, inspired by our camp experiences and IB classes, laid the foundation for the blog, which has since expanded to include concept explanations, book reviews, interviews, and much more.
CONTENT OVERVIEW
Our blog features a variety of content designed to engage and educate readers at all levels. We post content about general concepts in finance and economics, personal finance, article and book reviews, news coverage, Q&A's, and interviews with professionals. To make our content accessible to a broad audience, we start with easy-to-understand topics and gradually introduce more complex ideas for those wishing to delve deeper. Additionally, the interviews with experts occur on the first Friday of each month. We welcome any suggestions for new types of content—feel free to reach out to us with your ideas!
